If you don’t have a preference of our initiatives, or just realize that they are all important, please donate to our greatest area of need. Thank you for this – it allows us to be most helpful and effective.
Intro to Athletics
Sometimes our youth just need a little help getting started. Whether it’s a free pair of running shoes, an entry or a membership fee, that’s all they need. Our ACF Intro to Athletics Grants make a big difference in getting youth into sport and keep them away from other less productive choices.
Is there someone you wish to honour with a gift or fund set up in their name? Are you looking to host an event to raise funds for one of our programs? We are very happy to support you, so please give us a call to discuss other ways to support the Athletics Canada Foundation, including:
- Gifts in honour and memoriam
- Running a race on behalf of ACF
- Third party fundraising events
- Gifts in kind
For all questions and inquiries, please contact us.
Quite often, student athletes need to give up sport in order to continue in school. We have a big drop off at this age because our athletes need to work. Our ACF Post Secondary Scholarships allow them to continue in athletics and have some great experiences.
High Performance Athletes Fund
Trying to be the best you can be is expensive. Whether it’s travel for training camps or competitions, coaching or medical services, or one of many other things that it takes to excel. An ACF Excellence Grant makes a big difference in helping our athletes make national teams, achieve personal bests or get on the podium.
Run For ACF
If you’re not quite sure what to do but you really like running, either join our team or support our team running at the Toronto Scotia Bank Waterfront Marathon Sunday, October 21st, 2018. Go to Toronto Waterfront Marathon. You can win some prizes as well as support a great cause.
Andre De Grasse Future Champions Fund
The Andre De Grasse Future Champions Fund (ADGFCF) is a joint initiative of the Athletics Canada Foundation and the Andre De Grasse Family Foundation. In addition to his achievements on the track, Andre is a university graduate of the University of Southern California (USC) and has a deep appreciation of how mentors, training and education helped his success. The ADGFCF aims to empower youth to use competitive sport as a platform to further their academic potential and become healthy and productive citizens in their community. The ADGFCF will use the same blueprint that propelled Andre into a champion, and provide the support and services required for high school athletes to maximize their athletic ability in pursuit of academic success and the opportunity to realize their potential.
